- Pellet boiler : replacing fuel oil since 2022, it significantly reduces our carbon footprint.
- Photovoltaic panels (installed in 2023): they cover nearly 80% of the house's electricity needs, including the swimming pool.
- Electric charging station : available for hybrid or electric vehicles.
- Solar hot water : produced 100% by evacuated tube collectors.
Water & Resources
- Water-saving devices on all water outlets.
- Composting and selective waste sorting , with bins adapted for our guests.
- Zero single-use plastic in the rooms.
- Eco-friendly household products and linen changes available upon request.
Nature & Biodiversity
- A garden without chemicals , promoting local biodiversity.
- Composting and shredding of plant material for natural soil maintenance.
- An ecological pond providing habitat for insects, amphibians and birds.
- Vegetable garden, chicken coop and beehives : fresh eggs, organic vegetables and homemade honey for a more local and sustainable table.

- Independent and regulated heating in each room.
- Wi-Fi disconnection possible for people with electromagnetic hypersensitivity.
- LED lighting and presence detectors to limit consumption.
- Refilled and sustainable Rituals bath products .
Local products & short supply chains
We give preference to producers from the Grands Causses Regional Natural Park :
Meats, flours, beers, chocolates and vegetables come from a radius of less than 80 km.
A way to support the local economy while offering our guests authentic flavors.
Official recognition
Since 2022 , the Maison des Étoiles has been awarded the "Regional Natural Park Values" label , recognizing our commitment to respectful and sustainable tourism.
